  • Apply to start date

This is to select the date your training plan will start from. All training plans start on a Monday, so if you select today's the plan will start on the next Monday in the future.

IMPORTANT: If you select this option, the training plan will populate from today, forward, for the total number of weeks of the plan. If you have a specific event you are preparing for, with an exact race date, then do not select this option, select 'Apply to end date' (See next point)

If you would like to start the programme on a specific date in the future, then select this option and add the date you would like to start it on.

  • Apply to end date

This is the option to use if the event/race you are training for has a specific race date. When this option is checked, the programme will populate your training schedule backwards from the event/race date towards today.

IMPORTANT: When you select this option make sure you input the correct race/event date in the date field.

  • Date field

This is the field where you select the date you want the programme to start from or end on. (See points above)

  • Replace existing sessions for this period

If this option is checked, the new training plan you are adding will overwrite any existing training sessions in your personal training schedule going forward. If you are currently following a training programme and would like to replace it with a different one, make sure this option is checked.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to add a training plan to your current training plan, then make sure this option is unchecked. This will simply overlay the new plan on top of your existing plan. This is how you would add a strength training plan on top of your existing training plan.

Adding additional plans to your existing plan should only be done after consultation with one of our coaches. You can get advice from our coaches here.

  • Entire plan or part of plan

This option will either apply the whole training plan or only certain weeks of the plan to your personal training schedule.

Once you have selected from the options outlined above, click on the 'Apply to Schedule' button and the training plan you selected will be added to your training schedule.
